Our practitioners are highly skilled at the assessment of significance, and the application of Burra Charter principles and relevant statutory frameworks.
Extent Heritage has compiled local heritage registers and prepared nominations of places to state heritage registers across Australia. We also work with the National Heritage List and World Heritage List. In the case of Aboriginal heritage places, we work closely with traditional owners to identify and assess heritage values, both archaeological and cultural.

RECENT PROJECTS
The inner-western suburb of Sunshine boasts a rich and diverse working-class history that is readily evident in its impressive industrial sites. Extent Heritage was engaged by Brimbank City Council to undertake a heritage assessment of one of these sites – the Sunshine Silos.
Extent Heritage was engaged by the Australian government to prepare an archaeological zoning and management plan (AZMP) for known and potential archaeological resources within the Kingston and Arthurs Vale Historic Area (KAVHA), Norfolk Island.
Extent Heritage WA carried out archaeological and ethnographic surveys across parts of Western Australia’s Midwest in collaboration with representatives of the Southern Yamatji Native Title Claim Group.
Extent Heritage was engaged (in partnership with Lovell Chen) to prepare a Heritage Management Plan for Fremantle Prison - a place inscribed on the World Heritage List.
Extent Heritage designed a database of 'attributes' illustrating the potential Outstanding Universal Value of the KTOSR. The database formed a critical part of our report which presented practical recommendations to progress any future nomination.
