Erica is an experienced consulting archaeologist and the Manager of Extent Heritage’s Sea Country team. Erica has particular interest and experience in delivering open and honest strategic heritage advice for large, complex, or otherwise challenging projects.
Erica has previously led a large heritage team, ensuring that projects were delivered to the best quality, and by well-trained and well-supported individuals.
She has also developed specific fit-for-purpose client products considering heritage constraints and opportunities, including Traditional Owner engagement and communication plans, targeted due diligence and opportunity and risk assessments, as well as contributed to multi-disciplinary reports and masterplans.
She is the author, co-author and/or project manager of over seventy CHMPs, including studies for local councils such as Melton City Council, City of Darebin, Melbourne City Council, Wyndham City Council, water infrastructure managers including Yarra Valley Water, Melbourne Water, City West Water, Greater Western Water, City of Port Phillip, and government agencies, as well as individuals and private development. She has also authored and co-authored numerous letters of advice, due diligence assessments, conservation management plans, impact statements, and other technical reports, from small to large scale, including input into state and national level approvals, and prepared and presented expert evidence, and pre-purchase project planning advice, cost and other risk analysis.
