COMMUNICATING OUR STORIES
The Project
Extent Heritage has prepared a heritage interpretation strategy for the redevelopment of the Bathurst Railway Precinct. This included analysing the heritage significance of the site and developing interpretation concepts to ‘tell the story’ of the Bathurst Railway Precinct. Our strategy responded to the existing operational needs of the place in regard to railway functions, public parking, and thoroughfares. We were also involved in providing strategic advice for a proposed heritage centre within the Bathurst Railway Institute.

Our involvement has identified the stories embodied by the precinct, and has provided ways of communicating them to the public, so that our heritage is conserved while value is added to the development.
