Dates
Saturday May 1 through to Sunday May 16
The new Extent Heritage Mini-Museum will launch at Woodlea (around 500m from the Rockbank Inn) with a Grand Opening on Saturday May 1 .
Our team are currently conducting an archaeological dig and have been uncovering artefacts from as early as the 1840’s, many of which will be shown in our new Extent Heritage Mini-museum.
The pop-up museum has been created within a shipping container from Royal Wolf, and will be placed at sites that have significant public interest. The mini-museum will be self-guided on weekdays, with staff on-site both weekends.
We’ll be offering guided discovery tours to the Rockbank Inn ruins, where members of the community will hear from our archaeologists and learn about the rich history of this unique project and site. Sorry, but the places for tours have already booked out.
