Gabrielle is a heritage advisor in the Heritage Places team in the Sydney office.

In 2018, she completed a joint master’s degree in Cultural Heritage and World Heritage at Deakin University and Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus, Germany. This was a unique program in which only a small number of students were selected to participate and which required her to live and study in Germany for six months. Her dissertation addressed heritage management at serial World Heritage properties. It specifically focused on the Australian Convict Sites and Australian World Heritage management.

Gabrielle also has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Archaeology, which she completed in 2014.

Within her studies, Gabrielle has specialised in cultural heritage management and the conservation of tangible and intangible heritage and she has well-developed historical research skills. As a result of her studies and subsequent archaeological fieldwork in Australia and overseas, she has developed skills and knowledge pertaining to both archaeology and cultural heritage practice.

Gabrielle has a professional interest in public engagement and heritage interpretation. She has experience working with the development and delivery of tours, and is interested in the engagement of audiences within heritage places.
